Business Link NC is a new site created to serve the business community. I will be posting Search Engine Optimization (SEO) information here. The initial focus is to explain significant parts of SEO in a simple and easy to understand format with relevant links to reputable resources. The topics will include working with Alexa, Google, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, and other tools that can help promote business and generate web site traffic.
The target audience I aim to reach is made up of the business owners of North Carolina who simply need a better understanding of what it takes to make their websites show up in search engines.
The first reputable source I would like to refer you to is the Federal Trade Commission so that everyone will feel comfortable participating with my forums and discussions which ask for an email address. Check out CAN-SPAM Act: Compliance Guide for Business. Spamming you with unwanted email could cost a fine of $16,000.00 per occurrence. So I wouldn’t touch your email address with a 10 foot pole unless you ask me to. Also, the subscribe option is automated. You may subscribe or unsubscribe at anytime with no worries here.
